But not to worry, Angel. Vincent is going to bend to one knee shortly after anyway. And he keeps his tone quiet just in case it's a bit overwhelming in volume. ]

We should get moving. I can refresh the spell but I'd want to save my strength.

[ This time there is a sigh when Angel tosses out another insinuation. But for all the air of a man being put upon, Vincent takes care. The spider demon will find himself with all the support one would give holding a toddler... with one arm.

Look, he needs to pick up Nuggs as well, which is going to happen as long as the hellpig doesn't protest. Just to keep things cozy, it's one for each arm. One just has to hope things don't get dicey on the way out of the ship. Once everyone's settled- not immediately under the cloak's mantle this time- Vincent turns to retrace his steps to the elevator shaft. Which, mind you, will be at a slight yet still steep angle and have several decks still to drop; and a long way up.

Just before they reach it, Vincent does make a remark. ]

Hope you've got a head for heights. If not... well, cover yourself.

[It's a strange sensation, but Angel's been around long enough that strange is welcome so long as it's new. Makes him wonder about the extra small imps he's seen occasionally, and how strange it is hell still generally seems built to cater to standard human sizes and not the extra tall or extra small that make up a large portion of the population.]

[ Well by down we meant he'll be jumping up. Or something. Easy to get disoriented about the deck numbers but Vincent knows where to go. Either way it's going to be a bit of a ride. ]

Hrmph. [ There is amusement. ] Just hold on tight.

[ He's got plenty of belts for that wrapped around his arm even. Safety first. Little more hesitation is needed to brace and make his jump; though at speed, things like gravity will not seem to be as effective; as though there were something manipulating the impact of it.

Like he said, it's mostly about the head for heights and vertigo. The trip itself will almost be pleasant. ]
