"Yeah?" he murmurs back, and the temptation to lean down and take what Valentino wants is so intense that he finds himself curling his other hand into a loose fist at his side in an attempt to resist. It's clear to Val that the two of them are on the same page when it comes to their... attraction without a doubt - there's no mistaking the way Anthony's gaze drops, that look in his unfairly pretty eyes.

Val could claim him right now if he wanted, he thinks. He hums a low note, thoughtful.

"Play your cards right, and maybe I'll make this... permanent." Again, it's possible he's just taking about the arrangement of taking Anthony under his wing, guiding him and shaping into someone his father might speak about with more respect, but the closeness, the way he's holding Anthony's face is awfully intimate for him to just be speaking business.
