[He's about to climb off when Val abruptly lifts him like he ways nothing, and Angel starts in surprise. It's been a long while since Val caried him around like this anywhere outside of the bedroom, and Angel knows better than to insist he can walk. It does feel nicer if he's been honest, though he pointedly avoids meeting the eye of anyone on staff. (He does however briefly seek out one of the security cameras to smirk.)
