Angel Dust

[Angel's gaze falls at that bored reprimand, and he stops himself from giving yet another apology. He can barely remember the last time he's apologized to anyone outside of Val, and he knows he sure as shit owes a lot of people their share of them over the years. But for Valentino they pour out when he's not even sure what it is he's apologizing for.

He savors that brief moment of being held, safe and secure, mind jumping through hoops to try and defend all the examples he has to counter that feeling.

He lifts his gaze back up at the apology, and nods in understanding.]

I know, Val.

[Why's he so fucking stupid every time? Angel tries to quiet that voice. Fine, he's an idiot, but shit ain't gonna change anyway, so why not enjoy the good parts while he's got 'em? Or maybe this time he really means it...]

I know. I shouldn't've given ya reason to get bad in the first place. I ain't been usin' as much, an' my head don't feel right half the time... I ain't tryin' ta upset ya Val, I swear.
